Privacy policy

General

The provider undertakes to protect the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of website users. The collected personal data will be used by the provider exclusively for the provision of the services it offers. The provider respects the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of website users and will therefore do everything necessary to protect them from any violations and misuse. The personal data of users is one of the areas to which the provider pays particular care and attention, as it is aware of the sensitive nature of this area.

Use of personal data

For the purposes of providing the services it offers, the provider collects, manages, processes and stores at most the following user data:

• first name and surname;
• e-mail address;
• telephone number;
• other data that the user voluntarily enters into forms on the websites;
• other data that the user voluntarily adds later in their profile (if the website allows this functionality).

The provider is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data entered by users.

Purposes of personal data processing

The provider will process personal data for the following purposes:

• To communicate with the user regarding submitted product inquiries or in case of user questions. For this purpose, the provider will store personal data for as long as it is necessary to communicate with the customer.
• To send occasional e-newsletters about current events and offers, promotional offers and other matters that may be of interest to the user. The provider will store personal data for these purposes only with the user's explicit and unambiguous prior consent. Personal data will be stored until revocation, which the user can submit by sending a message to the e-mail address info@ateor.si.

User rights

The user can at any time request:

• Unsubscribe from receiving e-newsletters (if they receive them) by clicking on the link in the received e-mail. After unsubscribing, the provider will delete the data if it is not needed for other purposes for which the user has previously agreed or which the provider stores on other legal bases.
• Correction of their personal data by sending a written request to info@ateor.si.
• Permanent deletion of personal data held and/or processed by the provider by sending a written request to info@ateor.si.
• Export and access to personal data held and/or processed by the provider by sending a written request to info@ateor.si.

Statement on the protection of the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of users

In accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, the provider is committed to protecting the personal data of users of its websites. Under no circumstances will the provider, without the express permission of the user, provide personal or other user data to a third party or allow a third party to inspect personal or other user data, except:

• to contractual processors who provide support to the controller for the processing of personal data for specific purposes for which consent has been given,
• if required to do so by state authorities,
• if such an obligation is laid down by law,
• or in good faith that such action is necessary for proceedings before courts or other state authorities and for the protection and enforcement of the legitimate interests of the provider.

All personal and other data that the user provides when registering on the websites, as well as when ordering the purchase of products, including the content of orders, will be protected in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data. The provider will not use this data for purposes that would in any way harm the user or another involved party, except for purposes that the user explicitly and unambiguously permits in advance. The provider will not use user data to send promotional e-mails or other unwanted promotional material, except for sending those promotional notices to which the user subscribes or with which they have previously agreed. The provider may use the data in anonymised summary form for statistical analysis purposes. The confidentiality of users' personal and other data will not be violated in any form.

The delivery service (e.g. Pošta Slovenije, DHL, UPS, etc.) will only be entrusted with the necessary data for the delivery of products purchased on the website (online shop) (recipient data and delivery address). The provider will contact the user by e-mail if this is necessary for the execution of the purchase on the website (online shop), and by contact telephone number only if problems arise during the registration or purchase process on the website (online shop).

Implementation of the privacy policy

All persons regularly or occasionally employed by the provider who have access to users' personal and other data are aware of the obligation to protect personal and other data and are obliged to comply with these provisions on the protection of the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of website (online shop) users. The obligation to protect personal and other data is valid indefinitely, even after the termination of the relationship with the provider.

Registered users can stop using the website (online shop) at any time and can cancel their registration. This is done by sending a written statement of cancellation of registration to the provider. Before submitting the statement of cancellation of registration, the user must settle all outstanding obligations to the provider arising from purchases made on the website (online shop). The provider will also protect the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of online shop users within the framework of this privacy policy in the event of cancellation of registration.
